About Julia Karpeisky, MCC
Two decades coaching senior leaders at the highest levels.
Julia holds the Master Certified Coach credential from the International Coaching Federation, the highest coaching credential in the world, held by fewer than five percent of coaches. For more than two decades she has coached senior leaders at ExxonMobil, Chevron, The World Bank, Inova, Ashoka, Harvard, Yale, Duke, the FDA, the Carnegie Endowment, and the Brookings Institution. Before coaching, she supported leaders at the highest levels of the United States government as an interpreter, including in the Oval Office. She is the author of The Voice, an inspirational art book now translated into three languages.

A six-month executive engagement for a founder or CEO and the leadership team around them.
The Anchored Leader transforms an executive team from a workgroup into a cohesive team fully committed to the vision it is executing. It strengthens the capacity and resilience of each leader, and deepens the openness in how the team relates, decides, and communicates.
What It Delivers
- Greater team cohesion and trust, with timely conflict resolution.
- A leadership team that becomes a trusted environment where leaders openly discuss difficult issues, learn from one another, and solve problems collaboratively.
- Reduced silos and improved collaboration between team members.
- A set of shared values and an inspiring mission statement built from the ground up.
- Smooth execution of the growth plan, with clear and timely communication when the scope changes.
- Sustained team practices that continue after the engagement concludes.
- Increased excitement and motivation throughout the organization around the execution of the plan.
What It Includes
- Two one-day retreats for the leader and the leadership team.
- Team coaching sessions of 60 to 90 minutes, twice per month.
- Approximately 8 hours per month of one-on-one and small group coaching.
- Private consultations with the CEO or founder throughout the engagement.
- Design and customization of every session based on the team's emerging priorities.
- Written summary and next steps after each session.
- Support between sessions with a 24-hour response commitment.
The standard engagement is $20,000 per month for six months ($120,000 total) and covers the leader plus up to ten team members from the same organization. Larger teams or more complex scopes are quoted individually. Additional retreats and additional coaching hours are available as optional extensions.
Leader Foundation
A private engagement for a founder or CEO. Purpose, superpowers, blind spots, and the Leadership Promise you will lead by.
Leader Foundation is Julia's private one-on-one engagement. It begins with a ninety-minute intake session in person, where you set the focus areas, the schedule, and the way you want to work together. From there, the sessions and the pace are directed by you.
Your Leadership Promise
The signature deliverable is your Leadership Promise. A short document, designed by you, that names what the people who work with you will consistently experience. It has four elements:
Your Life and Leadership Purpose.
A sentence or two that defines why you are here, covering your work and your home.
Your Superpowers, Values, Needs, Blind Spots, and Sources of Energy.
What you are naturally good at, what fuels you, what depletes you, and how you tend to get in your own way.
Your Magic.
The way you approach things that makes things happen.
Your Top Three for the Year.
The words you lead by, and the priorities you want to accomplish or experience.
In parallel, we work with your day-to-day challenges, designing actions aligned with your purpose and developing the mindset that produces your vision of success.
What It Includes
- A ninety-minute intake session, in person.
- Private coaching sessions twice a month, or more often, as directed by you.
- Unlimited laser coaching by email, phone, and text between sessions.
- The Hogan Personality Assessment and/or the 360 Leadership Circle Profile, with a private debrief.
- Your Leadership Promise, complete by the end of the engagement.
Peer Circle
A monthly small-group session where founders bring a real issue and leave with something they can act on.
Once a month, a small group of non-competing founders gathers for ninety minutes. Each person brings a real leadership challenge. Julia facilitates. Everyone leaves with something they can put into practice the same week. No contract. Come once and see. Come as often as it is useful.

Leader Foundation and The Anchored Leader begin with a thirty-minute conversation with Carlos Coutin of Revenue Streams LLC, a strategic alliance partner of JMK Coaching. If both sides believe it is the right fit, a private conversation with Julia follows before enrollment.
